My Review:

4 stars

My fourth Laura Kaye book and I enjoyed it as much as the others. Becca finds a note from her missing brother to seek help from Nick who is an ex-military. 

I love Nick and I felt an instant connection with all the other side characters.

Jess: I still vote for tripod
Jeremy: or Hopalong

Compared to her other books, this book had more action/mystery/suspense. I thought it focused on the 'finding Charlie' storyline more than the romance. Not to say there wasnt any, as there was a nice amount of sexy time and the sexual tension between the two were undeniable. 

If you enjoy romance withaction/suspense and great characters, I would pick this up. Looking forward to more of the series

"Layla witnessed her parents being shot when she was thirteen...
Now in her senior year...
She still suffers seizures...

Hmm...





Wow I wasn't expecting this. Boy was I surprised. Not once did I feel the story drag on. If anything I think it should have been longer.

Let me Leave takes place in senior year and Keep me Still is when they are both in college. I found both books enjoyable and there was a few gasp out loud moments. 

Great writing, great story telling and great characters. 

"Seriously, Ginger, your timing is impeccable. Can I get you a collar with bells or something, so I can hear you coming next time?"

When I read the first few words of 'the sneak peek in Hold us Close', I had a feeling what was going to happen and BINGO!!! 

Come on Caisey, get this book out!!!"

Hold us Close (follow on Novella to Keep me Still) Review:

Keep me Still ended nicely but the sneak peak into the follow on novella was cruel!!! I couldn't stop thinking about getting round to this book.

Layla and Landen are dealing with ahuge bombshell that can either make or break the couple. Everything about this short novella was necessary for Landen to deal with his pasts and come out stronger together as a couple.

But maybe, just maybe, I can be the water that washes over him and smoothes those rough edges

I love Layla for her strong decision making and I love Landen for his inner turmoil over the situation. The love they have for each other was so sweet. 

As long as you keep trying, I will keep loving you. I don't even know if I could stop

There isn't anything I didn't like about this so it is getting the 5 stars. I would recommend this book for those who likeNew Adult with likeable broken characters and a fast pace storyline.x

Author Bio:

The daughter of a Norwegian Viking and a Finnish Moomin, Karina Halle grew up in Vancouver, Canada with trolls and eternal darkness on the brain. Wowza... This final book was beyond amazing, an epic conclusion to afabulous series.

The book continues on Ellie-Javier-Camden's journey in seeking revenge and rescuing characters. I was on anadrenaline high from start to finish. There was plenty of violence, a few shockers and yes at 90% My. Heart. Freaking. Stopped!!!(No joke!)

On the romance side, I've been Team Javier for most of the series and in this book he is his usual charming self.

I could have sworn it was just a few days ago that I last made you scream

Until this book. Camden absolutelywon me over with his dedication to Ellie (sorry Javier) #TeamCamden *SWOOoooN*

There was the inevitable sexy time, angst, sexual tension and some heart clutching sweet moments.

I cannot express in words just how much I love this series. It was a breath of fresh air to the usual romance I read. Full of action, violence, tension, with a heart pounding romance. If you've not started this series I would recommend it whole heartedly x
