Review: Crash into Me by Tracy Wolff

4 stars

I cannot resist a brothers best friendromance. Jamison finds herself touring with her brother and her brothers best friend, Ryder, who she has had a crush on for a long time.

The steamy scenes were hot! Jamison and Ryder were very likeable. I wasshocked by some of the events at the end.

I promise I won't attack you in your sleep. Your virtue is safe with me.

My only problem is I`m not a big fan ofthird person pov. But, I will definitely be looking out for the next in the series. I would recommend this if you want aquick steamy rocker book with a bunch of guys with issues.

Review: Remember When 3 by T Torrest

4 stars

After that heartbreaking cliffy in the last book, I could not wait to finally have this book in my hands. I loved being back with Trip.

I've always loved you, Lay. It's always been you.

I enjoyed all the sexy and happy times, they deserved it!!! Of course you know they aren't going to be happy in their little bubble forever and it went in a direction I was happy with.

No relationship is perfect, Loo. You have to decide to accept the imperfections and realise that what matters is that you're perfect together.

I love this series. The first book gave me first crush type butterflies. The second gave me angst heart flipping emotions. And the final book was a nice progression for the couple.

If Im being honest I absolutely loved the previous two books more but needless to say this was an amazing trilogy that I will forever love and I would recommend this trilogy for everyone!x

Rebecca and Charlie shared a night together and a year later it took a terrible event to bring them back in each others lives.

This book had an amazing start to the story. Be warned it was difficult to read but it set the scene for the rest of the book and wow the build up to the end!!!Charlie was a darling, so sweet and caring. Both characters was very likeable.

If you don't touch my central loving station this instant, I'm going to kick your ass

Overall this book has a similar vibe to book one, I felt it slowed down a bit in the middle but had the right amount of action and steam. I really enjoyed it.

Bio:

I'm interested in the way literature can help us explore aspects of the human condition - particularly suffering, sex, love, faith, and redemption. My favourite stories are those in which a character takes a journey, either a physical journey to a new and exciting place, or a personal journey in which he or she learns something about himself/herself.

I'm also interested in how aesthetic elements such as art, architecture, and music can be used to tell a story or to illuminate the traits of a particular character. In my writing, I combine all of these elements with the themes of redemption, forgiveness, and the transformative power of goodness.

I try to use my platform as an author to raise awareness about the following charities: Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation, WorldVision, Alex's Lemonade Stand, and Covenant House. For more information, see my Twitter account.

I really enjoyed this. Gabriel and Julia have been through a lot to get to where they are today. However there are always people and situations to treaten to tear them apart.

I almost forgot how much I love Gabriel. The love they share for each other... wow makes my heart melt. This book gave us a better understanding of both characters and their relationship was very touching. A really good direction for the sequel.

My milestones are only important because of you. Without you, they'd be empty days

I was happy with the ending for all the characters, even the ones I didnt like. It didnt reach 5 stars because I felt my attention wander off when reading about the side characters. A great sequel if you love Professor Gabriel.

My Review to Keep me Still (#1)

5 stars

Layla witnessed her parents being shot when she was thirteen...
Now in her senior year...
She still suffers seizures...
Enter new boy, Landen

Wow I wasn't expecting this. Boy was I surprised. Not once did I feel the story drag on. If anything I think it should have been longer.

Let me Leave takes place in senior year and Keep me Still is when they are both in college. I found both books enjoyable and there was a few gasp out loud moments.
Great writing, great story telling and great characters.

"Seriously, Ginger, your timing is impeccable. Can I get you a collar with bells or something, so I can hear you coming next time?"

When I read the first few words of 'the sneak peek in Hold us Close', I had a feeling what was going to happen and BINGO!!!

Come on Caisey, get this book out!!!

My Review for Hold us Close (#1.5)

5 stars

Keep me Still ended nicely but the sneak peak into the follow on novella was cruel!!! I couldn't stop thinking about getting round to this book.

Layla and Landen are dealing with a huge bombshell that can either make or break the couple. Everything about this short novella was necessary for Landen to deal with his pasts and come out stronger together as a couple.

But maybe, just maybe, I can be the water that washes over him and smoothes those rough edges
I love Layla for her strong decision making and I love Landen for his inner turmoil over the situation. The love they have for each other was so sweet.

As long as you keep trying, I will keep loving you. I don't even know if I could stop

There isn't anything I didn't like about this so it is getting the 5 stars. I would recommend this book for those who like New Adult with likeable broken characters and a fast pace storyline.

10 Reasons to Fall in Love with Hero Nick Rixey

I’m very excited to be celebrating the release of my twelfth novel, Hard As It Gets¸ the first in my new super sexy contemporary romance series called Hard Ink. The series has hot, alpha, prior military guys, a tattoo shop setting, an edgy suspense plot, a super steamy romance between hero Nick Rixey and heroine Becca Merritt, and a great bromance.

One of those hot, alpha guys is Nick Rixey, the hero of Hard As It Gets. Nick was second-in-command of her Army Special Forces unit before his commander’s black op went back and injured or killed most of the team. A year later, Nick’s out of the Army on an undeserved other-than-honorable discharge and nursing some deep physical and emotional wounds. I absolutely loved writing Nick’s character, and here are some reasons why I think you just might fall in love with him, too:

Nick has ink. I love tattoos on guys, including in my fiction! And Nick has quite a bit of ink, starting with that awesome tribal on his shoulder on the cover. You’ll get to explore what the rest are along with heroine Becca as the book unfolds! Yummy!

Nick does ink. One of the things I loved about Nick was that he had all these hard edges, but then he had this artistic side. Nick has always drawn and, as part owner of Hard Ink Tattoo, he’s learned how to do it with ink and a tattoo gun. I love the combination! And there’s a really sexy scene where Nick draws a little something with Becca!

He boxes. Jeans. Bare feet. No shirt. Boxing gloves, the kind that leave the fingertips exposed. Muscles in motion. Yeah, that’s a scene in Hard As It Gets.

He’s a good big brother. Nick is big brother to Jeremy, the other owner of Hard Ink. They have great chemistry and an awesome bromance, plus a few intensely emotional scenes I loved writing. And Jeremy’s an awesome character himself!

He’s loyal. Nick would do anything, risk anything, sacrifice anything, for those he cares about. And it makes him so admirable.

He’s tortured. Tortured heroes are my favorite, and Nick is about as tortured as they come. He still suffers physical pain from two gunshot wounds to his lower back, and he carries a world of emotional pain over what happened to his SF unit for which he blames himself. It makes him sympathetic and flawed and just a character you’ll want to hold and make it all better!

He is sexy as hell! See the notes on boxing and ink, above! LOL Nick has dark chocolate brown hair and super pale green eyes. It’s a killer combination. Add to all that a gun holster over broad shoulders and…thud!

He’s prior military. Nick served in the Army Special Forces for a lot of years, and he has taken that code to heart. Loyalty. Honor. Duty. Service. Courage. What’s not to love?

He’s a true hero. Despite how much Nick blames himself for what happened to his SF unit, Nick was a hero on the day the ambush happened, going as far as to help administer medical treatment to another teammate after he’d been shot twice in the lower back. His heroism continues into Hard As It Gets, where he does the right thing and helps Becca despite some serious misgivings about getting involved with his commander’s daughter. He knows the right thing and he does it, making him a true everyday hero.

When he finally gives into love, his redemption is so sweet! The more they resist, the harder they fall, and that’s definitely true of Nick Rixey in Hard As It Gets. I just love when a tortured hero finally finds what he needs to start healing, don’t you?

For me, all of these add up to one seriously hot, tortured, lovable hero, and I hope you’ll fall in love with Nick Rixey just like I have!

My Review:

4 stars

Now we get Zander's book or as I remember him, the stripper. Zander is Mac' ex sex buddy and Kate is Mac's best friend. Awkward right?!

Kate has been on several dating disasters and looking for THE ONE. I liked her except for her reaction to Zander at the end was a little over the top for me.

Zander was a sweetheart and a big softy:

I sound like a girl, but I don't care

It was a good second book and I really enjoyed the dating and internet chatting. However, I felt there was a bit too much focus on Mac and Daniel (who I love). A light enjoyable book.
